Our New Home

We moved into our new home she was 'on the hard stand' at Fox's Marina, in Ipswich, Suffolk and in need of some TLC after 16 months on the hard.  John's project management skills come to the fore and our list of tasks began - resulting in 12-14hrs days to get everything done. Thank goodness the 'crew' had been warned out about this phase otherwise mutiny would have resulted with the long hard days of work.  Gone are the days of soft office hands for the two of us:)

Carrying everything we needed up the stairs kept us fit.
We made the most of the time with the boat on the hard with a a range of tasks completed including; all through hulls serviced and antifouled, blackwater tanks flushed, greywater sumps flushed, anodes replaced, bow thruster and props cleaned and antifouled, rudder quadrant cleaned and copper coat ablated. Bottom line it was a busy but productive time!

John replacing the anodes.
